Rose Kajal

Lead Research Assistant

Rose is a Senior and Honors Thesis undergraduate student at KPU majoring in psychology and minoring in counselling. Her interests include psychological disorders and learning about various treatment plans. As well, she cherishes learning about trauma and its influence on daily functioning. After graduation, she intends on completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology to pursue a career as a Clinical Psychologist. Rose wishes to work with children with the hope of promoting mental wellness among the demographic. In her free time, Rose loves baking, reading mystery novels, and playing with her three cats: Callie, Boots, and Broccoli. 

Brandon Rickett

International Research Assistant

Brandon Rickett is a senior undergrad at Bucknell University double majoring in Psychology and Russian. There he conducts research on children’s gender-stereotyping of musical instruments. Brandon has interests in researching counseling methods for immigrants from the former-Soviet Union and plans to pursue a PhD in counseling psychology. In his free time he enjoys running, training Muay Thai, climbing, hiking, and reading.

Nika Grigor

Research Assistant

Nika (Veronika) is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in psychology with a minor in criminology. Nika enjoys learning how important psychological intervention is in prevention of crime and recidivism. Her dream career is to be a prison psychologist, where she can help vulnerable people work through trauma and be reintegrated into society. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, training Judo, weightlifting, and annoying any cat in her vicinity.

Kseniia Golopurova

International Research Assistant

Kseniia Golopurova is a master’s student at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). She works as an Applied Behavior Analysis specialist at a center for children with ASD. Kseniia is interested in child psychology and counseling, with a dream of creating a center to educate doctors and medical staff on working with children to improve the quality of life for little patients. In her free time, Kseniia enjoys sup-serfing, singing, and yoga.

Lasarus Pak

Research Assistant

He is a First-Year student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, currently a psychology-intended student with plans of applying for the honors program in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At this moment, Lasarus is most interested in seeing how other social sciences (e.g. Sociology, Criminology, etc…)  interact with psychology. He hopes to diversify his knowledge and experience relevant to psychology so that he can build a solid foundation for his future studies. Although he has set his sights in pursuing clinical psychology, he is open to other fields in psychology as well!
